Aladdin has always been our go‑to Disney fairytale, so when the show at the Fabulous Fox Theater rolled into town, we couldn’t resist channeling a bit of Agrabah magic ourselves. Dressed in our own twist on Aladdin’s street‑rat swagger and Princess Jasmine’s royal elegance, we stepped into the historic venue ready for a night of carpets, genies, and starlit wonder. From the bejeweled accents to the flowing silks, our inspired outfits set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening under the glow of the Fox’s glamorous marquee.

Daenerys and Drogon Cosplay

As big Game of Thrones fans, we couldn’t resist entering the 2019 Renaissance Festival’s GoT costume contest as Daenerys and Drogon. I channeled the fallen Mother of Dragons—complete with a dramatic costume and ash-kissed flair—while Scott took flight (figuratively) as her loyal dragon, Drogon. We even reenacted that heart-wrenching finale scene where Daenerys falls and Drogon carries her away. The crowd was spellbound, and our fiery performance (plus the costumes) earned us first place! Dany and Drogon also made an appearance at our House of the Dragon watch party.

30th Birthday Gift Baskets

I’ve done a few “survival” gift baskets for 30th birthdays, all of which contain at least 30 items to help friends with the transition into the 30s! I love the Thirty, Flirty, and Thriving theme (from 13 Going on 30) and utilized this for several. I’ve also done a tropical/spa theme. I always ensure to include personalized items that I know my friends will get a kick out of and will help them relax!

St. Patrick’s Decor: Creative Cricut and 3D Prints

The creative adventures with my Cricut and 3D printer continue! 3D-printed pots overflowing with leprechauns and gold, clover ornaments with gears for the engineers 🤓, and whimsical clovers floating in the clouds! 🌈☁️ I also repurposed glass bottles, wine glasses, and mason jars for a festive touch. Making the leprechauns was my favorite part! 💚 Wishing you all a lucky and happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀✨

Magic Meets Morocco: Aladdin & Jasmine Couples Shirts at Epcot

Aladdin has always been our favorite Disney movie, so making matching couples shirts for our 2020 trip to Disney World was a no-brainer! We captured some truly magical moments in EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion—such a perfect backdrop for our Aladdin & Jasmine look. This trip also happened to be during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and we made it our mission to find every single topiary. We also checked off a major Disney bucket list item—our first visit to Pandora at Animal Kingdom—and it was absolutely breathtaking!
