LOTR: The Rings of Power Watch Party

We had an incredible time hosting our Rings of Power Season 2 premiere watch party! From epic décor that brought Middle-earth to life, to a ring toss game worthy of Sauron himself, every detail was crafted with love (and a bit of 3D printing magic). Guests feasted on Lembas bread, a decadent smoking Ring of Power cake, and a full spread of “Taters, Precious” topped with “Meat’s Back on the Menu, Boys,” “Weathertop Crispy Bacon,” and “Pippin’s Peppers.” Drinks flowed with Misty Mountain mead, “They Come in Pints?” beer, and smoky Mtn Dewm cocktails.

Our Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power watch party. 3D printed decor included 20 Rings of Power, a Mt Doom smoldering with dry ice, a full-sized light up Gandalf staff, the tower of Orthanc, the Witch King of Angmar’s helmet, and the swords Narcil and Sting. The food included lembas bread, @AnneKostecki Ring of Power cake, Mtn Dewm cocktails, Misty Mountain mead, “They Come in Pints?” beer, and loaded potatoes consisting of “Taters Precious,” “Meat’s Back on the Menu, Boys,” “Weathertop Crispy Bacon,” and “Pippin’s Peppers,” to name a few. We played a ring toss game (throw the One Ring into Mt Doom) that @stltrails won and some trivia, including a LOTR board game that I made in high school! #LOTR #LOTRonPrime #LOTRcosplay #LordOfTheRings #RingsOfPower #AmazonPrime #WatchParty #TheRingsOfPower #TheLordOfTheRings #Tolkien #TheRingsofPower

Decor and Props

A few of the 3D printed props were the 20 Rings of Power (for a ring toss game), a Mt Doom smoldering with dry ice, a light up Gandalf staff, the tower of Orthanc, the Witch King of Angmar’s helmet, crown of Galadriel and Elrond, and the swords Narsil and Sting.

Costumes

We fully stepped into Middle-earth by dressing as some of its most iconic figures. I channeled my inner Galadriel, complete with flowing white robes and an ethereal glow. My sister embodied Arwen, bringing Elven elegance with cascading dark curls and star-kissed details. Our resident Hobbit came barefoot and snack-ready, cloak and all. The Witch King of Angmar stole the show—his helmet getting passed around for guests to don – definitely not someone you’d want to meet on the path to Mordor.
