Magic Meets Morocco: Aladdin & Jasmine Couples Shirts at Epcot

Aladdin has always been our favorite Disney movie, so making matching couples shirts for our 2020 trip to Disney World was a no-brainer! We captured some truly magical moments in EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion—such a perfect backdrop for our Aladdin & Jasmine look. This trip also happened to be during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and we made it our mission to find every single topiary. We also checked off a major Disney bucket list item—our first visit to Pandora at Animal Kingdom—and it was absolutely breathtaking!

The Designs

I made Aladdin’s shirt purple and Jasmine’s shirt/dress turquoise. It was tricky to find Jasmine’s color. I ended up settling for this Amazon small aqua dress and a unisex small teal BELLA+CANVAS shirt at Michaels. I decided to make both a shirt and dress for me :). Scott’s shirt we ordered from Jiffy shirts BELLA+CANVAS XL (the turquoise shirt I ordered from Jiffy shirts was more of a sky blue so I had to return it).

For the design, I used both the Disney and Aladdin font to make key words stand out like “shimmering” and “World”. I used a combination of white, metallic silver, metallic gold, and gold glitter heat transfer vinyl – with the lamp, carpet, and “shimmering” text in gold of course. I really liked the Aladdin carpet silhouette that had Aladdin’s hand directed up towards World!

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is amazing! This is our second time coming during the spring for this festival, and we made sure to find all the topiaries on this trip!
