The creative adventures with my Cricut continue. I repurposed lots of glass bottles, wine glasses, and mason jars. I loved making the Leprechauns! Happy St. Patty’s Day you all!
Here’s a video compilation of the decor at our new house.
Centerpieces / Bottle Art
This is how I prefer to recycle wine and whiskey bottles! I even repurposed many of the light green Grinch bottles from our Grinchmas decor. The leprechauns were especially fun to make! I cut out strips of black vinyl with my Cricut for the belt and added the gold buckle with adhesive backed gold gems. I spray painted some old buttons gold and hot glued them on. At the neck or bottom, I added ribbons, bows, clover stickers, twine, and gold embellishments. I scattered beads and coins around the outside of the bottles. For the “bouquets”, I inserted hats, clovers, coins, green twisted embellishments, and assorted flowers (white, green, or gold).
Mantle
I made paper shamrocks for a previous St. Pat’s celebration so hung & scattered these throughout. The mantle centerpiece of green mason jars inside our Perdue holder is repurposed for every holiday. The green shamrock lights add a lovely glow. One year I kept up the gold trees from Christmas.
Wine Cart
I change up the wine cart from year-to-year. This year I topped my glass stand with a hat, and added a big bow to the giant bottle. The painted & lit up wine and champaign glasses look pretty spectacular.
Wreath
Deco mesh makes beautiful wreaths! I used gold, light green, and dark green mesh. I embellished it with shamrocks, ribbon, and a sign I bought.
Other Bling
I blinged out the corner shelf, above the fridge, and kitchen island with beads, coins, and ornaments. The green kitchen is a perfect backdrop for St. Patty’s decor!
Preciouses
Frito and Frodo are the the Preciousest so I had to include a feature for them!
