Pink goes good with green β especially when love gets complicated in Oz. Instead of taking down my Wicked decor, I turned it into a full Valentine takeover, complete with triangle ornaments inspired by iconic love triangles, a pink Emerald City train glow-up, floating hearts, and Jonathan Bailey Cupid spinning between Elphaba and Glinda as the self-proclaimed βsexiest baby alive.β Subtle? Never. Oz-approved chaos? Absolutely.
π Jonathan Baby β Wicked Cupid Chaos
Cupid has officially been reassigned. I put Jonathan Baileyβs head on a flying 3D printed Cupid and let him spin between Elphaba and Glinda, because if Oz is doing Valentineβs Day, itβs doing it dramatically. Jonathan Baby, self-declared βsexiest baby alive,β now hovers between the ultimate Wicked love triangle and proves once again that this decor is never coming down.
π Flying Monkeys and Floating Hearts
The flying monkeys didnβt get retired β they got upgraded. I added dangling hearts so it feels like love is floating in the skyβ¦ and possibly being stirred up mid-flight. Itβs just enough chaos to keep the Wicked energy alive while leaning fully into Valentineβs Day.
πΊ Love Triangle Ornaments
I 3D printed triangles and hearts to create large ornaments to add the faces of iconic love triangles from Wicked, Bridgerton, LOTR, Outlander, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, Hunger Games, and Twilight. The triangle shape ties directly into the Emerald Cityβs gears and steampunk vibe, but itβs also a nod to my engineering background β even the green and gold color scheme matches my alma mater, Missouri S&T.
π Pink Emerald City Train β Valentine Glow-Up
Everyone wanted pink, so the Emerald City train went full Valentine. I reprinted the train in pink and a mini Glinda to go inside. The Valentine version fits Oz perfectly!
𫧠Glindaβs Bubble Tree β Where Hearts Take Flight
Glindaβs bubble tree got its Valentine glow-up with red hearts and cupids floating among the shimmer and sparkle. I couldnβt resist adding a few love triangle ornaments here too. The red pops beautifully against the soft pink bubbles, giving the tree a romantic, playful energy that feels perfectly on brand for Glinda β sweet, dramatic, and just a little bit extra.
π Pink Goes Good With Green (and Love)
Pink has always gone good with green in my Wicked Wonderland, but for Valentineβs Day I let love take over every corner. Red and blush accents now spill from the trees onto the mantle and into the breakfast room, turning the entire space into an Oz-inspired Valentine scene. The mantle celebrates friendship with Glinda and Elphaba at the center, while one corner leans into romance with Elphaba and Fiyero β Scarecrow lore included β and another pairs Glinda with the Tin Man for a softer, heart-forward moment. Every aspect tells a slightly different kind of love story, all wrapped in pink, red, and emerald drama.
