St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup 3D Print

In preparation for hockey starting up again, I 3D printed this amazing Blues Stanley Cup! I needed some decorations for my office at my new job, and thought this would be a great addition. I can even put candies in the cup to share!

I printed this Thingiverse St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup with PLA at 85% scale to fit on my Ender 3 Pro. The Stanley Cup middle took the longest at ~19hrs, and was printed at 0.2 mm resolution and 5% infill with 204g silver PLA. My first attempt was at 10% infill and there was an filament feed error so I went with 5% infill on my second attempt (5% was plenty).

The top and notes were printed at 0.12 mm resolution and 10% infill. The top required supports (everywhere, concentric, 0.3mm Z, 1.0mm X/Y, 75 overhang angle, 5% support density) and took ~13h and 56g of silver PLA. Each note took 1.5-3 hrs and 6-14g PLA (blue, white, and gold). I printed the base at 0.2 mm resolution and 20% fill, and it took ~5 hrs and 56g black PLA.

I glued the base, top, and notes to the cup with Rapid Dry glue.
