Rudolph Work Holiday Decorating competition

I led our building in a decorating competition to deck our site in Rudolph-themed decor welcoming all misfit toys. The main feature was the Island of Misfit Toys Castle and King Moonracer at the entrance. Our social team did an amazing job creating all the decor, and we won the competition!

The Castle

The castle was the showpiece and was a major team effort. I made the mountains out of white foam board spray painted with blue and glitter. One of our warehouse colleagues made the castle out of an old styrofoam shipping container. For King Moonracer, I had a huge stuffed lion, and created black wings out of cardboard to attach to him. Yukon Cornelius and Hermey the Misfit Elf also graced the entrance (printed and put on cardboard).

Misfit Toys

We collected random, misfit toys to put under the Christmas tree near the entrance. The sign at the entrance welcomed all misfit toys!

Reindeer Stables

Grandma got run over by the reindeer! Santa and the reindeer stables on the office doors.

Silver and Gold (Innovation Room)

The hanging ornament tree was amazing! One of our colleagues was also an amazing artist and drew the abominable snowman!

Candy Land (Break Room)

Cubicle Decorations

The log cabin won the cubicle decorating competition! I decorated my cubicle with the cat elf wrapping paper 🙂

Inspiration Pictures

Here are the pictures we used as inspiration or even printed to include in the decor.
