This past year was filled with space-themed events. The Halloween theme at Ballpark Village was Aliens and both Wyatt & Oliver’s birthday parties were space so of course we dressed the part.
I got many of my alien props from Goodwill (nerf gun and boots) and painted them silver. Party City had a huge sale earlier in the year so I was able to repurpose a tin man outfit and bought a silver skirt & alien antennas. This was my first time gluing glitter to my body (glue and glitter); it was extremely messy but really pretty. I had an old temperature probe, which I attached to me so I could “probe for life”. I bought my alien antennas and LED flashing gloves.
To make it easy, we also bought all of Scott’s astronaut silver suit, helmet, and inflatable rocket man. We also brought our Darth Vader mask, which Scott also wore part of the time at Wyatt’s party.
