I hosted a jungle-themed couples baby shower for my sister, Rachel, and it was hands down the most fun shower I’ve ever thrown! I even made the cake myself—and I’m pretty sure it’s the cutest one I’ve ever created. From hilarious diaper-changing relays to guessing mystery chocolates in diapers and racing to chug milk from baby bottles, the games were just as wild as the theme!
Invite
Here’s the invite I designed and sent out for the couples shower.
Cake
I made a two-layer cake consisting of zebra-striped and mandarin-orange layers. I hand molded all the animals (giraffe, elephant, monkey, and hippo) and jungle parts from colored, white chocolate fondant. We served green jungle punch.
Games
We had quite a few silly games including the following:
- Diaper changing relay
- Delectably Dirty Diapers/candy bar trivia
- Guess the Girth
- Chugging milk from a baby bottle
- Price is Right
For prizes and favors, we had animal crackers, kisses, beanie baby animals, random animal-themed stuff, and candy bars.
