My book club read Dangerous Lady by Martina Cole so I dressed up as the main character, Maura Ryan, for our meeting. My look was inspired by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s with the beehive hair, crown, and black dress.
The book is set in the 60s so I used Audrey Hepburn as my inspiration for my Maura Ryan cosplay. I used a piece of foam to help provide elevation for the beehive and lots of pins & hair spray to hold it in place. I had all the costume items (dress, crown, pearls, black gloves, and cat eye rhinestone glasses) so it was any easy cosplay to throw together for our meeting.
