Welcome to my Wicked Wonderland – where Glinda’s sparkle meets Emerald City mischief and our whole home gets a little Oz-ified for the holidays. Our 2025 theme was a pink-and-green mashup that’s equal parts magical and playful: a Glinda the Good Bubble Tree that feels straight out of a fairytale, an Emerald City Wicked Tree dripping in steampunk gears and gold, and a lineup of 3D-printed creations that turn the decor into a full-on storybook scene. From custom toppers and Wicked & Wizard of Oz character nods to an Oz steampunk train and a hot air balloon adventure, every corner has an “I made that” moment. And of course, it wouldn’t be Wicked without some drama – Elphaba and her flying monkeys colliding with Glinda and her bubble snowstorm – like the North and South poles of Oz teamed up to decorate, then argued over who got the best tree.

⚙️ Emerald City Wicked Steampunk Tree
This Emerald City tree is glowing green, decked with gears, and dripping in metallic Oz magic. Engineers, this one is for you – I leaned into Missouri S&T green, black & gold for a tribute to all the gearheads. I 3D printed the majority of the adornments and designed custom Wicked ornaments so “The Wizard and I” can “Defy Gravity” while I cackle like the “Wicked Witch” and baaa at “Something Bad” in just a “Clock Tick.” 😉

🧙♂️ Emerald City Topper
Who needs a star when your tree can lead you straight to the Wizard with Emerald City at the top? I 3D printed a translucent green Emerald City topper that looks like it rose right out of the Land of Oz.

🎈Hot Air Balloon
Pay no attention to the tiny man inside the balloon…or actually, do. I 3D printed a hot air balloon and a miniature Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

🚂 Emerald City Steampunk Train
I 3D printed a mini Elphaba and the steampunk train to chug its way around my Wicked Christmas tree, loaded with Oz gears that make it feel like it is headed straight for Emerald City.

🐒 Elphaba and Her Flying Monkeys
The flying monkeys have officially left the 3D printers and are now swooping where my Harry Potter floating candles used to hang, flying in formation around Elphaba and my Wicked tree. They glide through moody cloud clusters lit with ominous LEDs that slowly shift between eerie green and sweet-but-suspicious pink, making it feel like the sky itself is caught between Elphaba and Glinda.
See how I 3D printed the monkeys, molded them into flying position, and hung them alongside Elphaba. I added the Pink Jacket Monkey by popular request from followers.
🧙♀️ Giant Elphaba Nutcracker
Meet my full-on Wicked Witch glow-up: a massive 3D printed Elphaba nutcracker guarding my Emerald City Wicked tree. From her iconic hat, glasses, and broom to the moody green details and cute freckles, this giant nutcracker is ready to defy gravity.

⚙️ Steampunk Gears
The secret to this Emerald City steampunk look is all in the gears. I 3D printed a whole set of cogs and wheels on my Bambu H2D to layer into my Wicked tree so it feels like the clockwork heart of Oz is turning right in the branches. I walk through the prints, paint, and placement so you can recreate this “industrial Emerald City” vibe on your own tree.
🫧 Glinda’s Bubble Tree
Step into Glinda’s bubble and be obsessulated! This pink Wicked Christmas tree has been Galindafied with shimmery “good witch” energy, floating bubbles, and over-the-top glam. If you have ever wished you could travel by bubble instead of broomstick, this Wizard of Oz inspired tree will give you all the Glinda the Good magic for your own holiday décor. I designed several ornaments that I 3D printed so you can be “Obsessulated” with my “Galindafied” tree that is soon to be so “Popular” that you’ll be “Dancing Through Life.”
✨ Wand Tree Topper
I went full Good Witch energy on this tree – I’m completely obsessulated with Glinda’s wand from Wicked, so I 3D printed it in three sizes and crowned the tree with a 175% scale version that looks like she bewitched everything with sparkle.

🫧 Girl in a Bubble
My Good Witch decided to travel by bubble this year! I designed and 3D printed a giant open bubble for Glinda to “float” in with an opening right where the bubble starts to pop from her wand tip! I then surrounded my bubble tree with a whole cluster of smaller bubbles and snowflakes so it looks like she just drifted in a bubble snowstorm.

💖 Giant Glinda Nutcracker
I was ready for “unadulterated loathing” during the bubble dress creation, but what is this feeling… sudden and new love for a nutcracker? This giant 3D printed Glinda is drenched in pink and sparkle to match her Bubble tree, complete with a Glinda-blonde wig and a mini bubble skirt so she looks ready to toss toss her hair and float off in her bubble.

💚💗 Pink Goes Good with Green Decor
Glinda was right: pink does go good with green! I blended pink and green on our mantle and breakfast room and created custom ornaments to show that Glinda and Elphaba are “Unlimited” and “Better Together.” If you love both Good Witch glam and Wicked Witch vibes, you’ll love this decor.

🔥 KILL THE WITCH
Our poor arborvitae has died so many times it basically auditioned to be in Wicked, so we finally cast it as the witch they burn. I wrapped it up like a doomed witch, lit it with LEDs that shift from eerie Elphaba green to full “she’s cooked” red, and gave it a big KILL THE WITCH moment for extra Munchkin mob chaos. No real flames, just overdramatic Oz energy and a dead tree finally living its best role.
🏡 Classic Wizard of Oz: There’s No Place Like Home
Tap your heels three times and step into our classic Wizard of Oz “No Place Like Home” room. This tree has Dorothy’s house as the topper, witch legs with ruby slippers under the tree skirt, Toto in his basket, and a full cast of figurines – Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion – lined up along a Yellow Brick Road tablescape. It’s pure nostalgic Oz from floor to ceiling.

Here’s our traditional Christmas menu with a little Wicked magic mixed in – the Yellow Brick Road charcuterie leading straight to Emerald City was the perfect centerpiece.

My family fully committed to the Oz magic this year and dressed up as Wizard of Oz and Wicked characters, turning our Christmas into a little trip down the Yellow Brick Road. Between the classic favorites and the Wicked witches, the whole house felt like Emerald City meets Munchkinland, with just the right amount of sparkle, mischief, and theatrical flair.
